MSIM China A fund now available in UCITS form
January 4, 2018

Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) today announced the launch of the Luxembourg SICAV-domiciled fund format of the Morgan Stanley Investment Funds' (MS INVF) China A-shares Fund.

Previously only available to institutional investors in a separate account format, the fund aims to capitalize on pricing anomalies and inefficiencies in the A-shares market.

The investment team seeks to do this through the construction of a high-conviction portfolio of high-quality companies in industries that they believe could grow faster than overall gross domestic product growth, have the potential to gain market share and could be able to maintain or expand their profit margin.

The result is a concentrated portfolio typically consisting of 25 to 40 active positions which the investment team believes could be some of China's current and future leading companies.
