CMB gives global mandate to BNP Paribas

BNP Paribas Securities Services has this week announced that it has been selected to provide global custody services to China Merchants Bank, Singapore (CMB).

BNP Paribas Securities Services says it will provide CMB with settlement and custody services for international fixed income securities, derivatives and equities in Hong Kong, Singapore and the United States.

BNP Paribas Securities Services adds that its extensive network and global reach, which covers more than 90 markets, will help CMB enhance its access to international markets and support its regional and international growth ambitions.

Du Jing, General Manager of CMB Singapore Branch, said: "We selected BNP Paribas for its innovative solutions and global reach. We are pleased to partner with one of the leading global custodians to support our ambitions in Singapore and the region."

Diana Senanayake, Head of BNP Paribas Securities Services Singapore, said: "This is a prestigious new mandate which consolidates our leading position in the Singapore market. It also demonstrates our strength in supporting Chinese banks with their international expansion plans."

1. Click the red O button in the upper left hand corner
2. Select Settings -> Preferences
3. Select the Advanced Tab
4. Select Cookies in the list on the left side
5. Set it to "Accept cookies" or "Accept cookies only from the sites I visit"
6. Click OK
